Cape Vineyard Safety Team

Hey everyone! Here's the one minute portion of Jamie speaking last night at Community Night. He mentioned the safety team and what we’re wanting to do with it. Check it out!

As you now know, we’re working on something new at the Vineyard–putting together a Safety Team. It’s important to our team that every service and event we have is both welcoming to all and safe for everyone. One of the pieces to help make this continue to happen is to have a functioning Safety Team that helps to oversee both the safety of the event and it’s security. As Jamie and I have talked, your name has come up as someone who might be interested in working with this team or at least helping us to get it started.

Jamie and I have asked Scott Shellhaas to help us to get this team connected and recruited. Scott’s a great guy if you haven’t gotten a chance to meet him yet. He’s going to be making calls to each of you soon to chat about what we’re wanting to do and how you can be a part of it.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask them to Scott when he gives you a call. You all have my phone number as well, so don’t hesitate to give me a call.

P.S. as Scott will tell you, we’re planning an information type meeting for the team in a few weeks after the second service. Mark it down on your calendars to stick around after Church on July 31st from 12:00-12:20. We’ll follow that up with our first actual team meeting/training session in mid-August.
