WAYS TO KEEP YOUR GROUP ENGAGED
Week 1 Suggestions:
#1 SEND OUT NOTES OF ENCOURAGEMENT
This is a great way to encourage everyone in your group. Send them a short note just to let them know you are thinking about them and praying for them. This will really help your relationships grow in the Church.
#2 MAKE A PRAYER LIST OF NON-BELIEVERS
Have everyone send in 1 or 2 names of close friends/family members who are not believers. Send this list to everyone in your group and pray every day for those people to come to know the Lord during this season.
#3 MEMORIZE A VERSE OF THE BIBLE EVERY WEEK
Pick an encouraging verse like Hebrews 4:16 or Psalm 94:19. Check in with each other during the week to see how memorizing is going. Encourage each other to lean in to God's promises in this season.
#4 HAVE A GAME NIGHT
This one requires a little bit of technology. Have everyone download one of these apps (up to 8 phones can play at one time) and you can play together from separate homes:
House Party - Play heads up, trivia, and more. All games are in the app.
Bunch - They have more games than House Party, but the games aren't included in the app. You download separate games and play with video in the background.
#5 SERVE TOGETHER
Yes, there are still ways to serve! (If you want to serve at-building as a group, remind your group that this isn't a test of faith, it's an opportunity for those who are comfortable. Everyone serving at-building must bring their own mask to wear while serving. If your group wants to serve at-building, please let me know before-hand so that I can arrange it.)
Here's a few options:
-Thursday or Saturday Drive-Thru Dinner Church 4-6pm. Help give out groceries and meals.
-Sunday Drive-In Church, any time between 7:30 and 12:30. Help at any of our services with parking, sign holding, food give away.
-Make phone calls. We are working through call lists to anyone connected to our Church. We are checking on them and praying for them.
